Census Update from UTHealth

The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston recently published a report from the U.S. Census Bureau stating that every day 7,000 Baby Boomers turn age 65. The census report went on to say that by the year 2030, 71 million Americans will be over the age of 65.

The report also cited a second recent study showing that donors who include a charitable bequest in their estate plans make annual gifts more than double in size than similar donors who fail to utilize such bequests. 1. I couldn’t agree with you more. With the current status of our economy and the shaky standing of medicare/medicaid and social security, it is really imperative to have a more defined and secure estate plan for financial security and stability. Its always better to be prepared than sorry.
